Alice Matilda Denvil (1839-1908) was an actress and daughter of theater producer Henry Denvil and playwright Mary Ann Denvil. She began her acting career in 1857 at the Princess Theater, London. She married music professor Thomas Connelly in 1863 and had at least three children: Thomas (b. 1864), Henry (b. 1865), and Alice (b. 1873). She kept her maiden name throughout her acting career....
